2023-24 WBB Season Tickets

  • On March 27, 2023, the Coach Kim Caldwell era began for the Marshall University women’s basketball program. Caldwell became the eighth head coach in the history of the Herd. 
  • Caldwell – the Parkersburg, West Virginia native – joins Marshall from Division II Glenville State, where she turned the Pioneers into a powerhouse, going 191-24 in seven seasons, winning the 2022 NCAA Division II Women’s Basketball National Championship. 


  • Abby Beeman notched the team’s first double-double of the season Saturday. The Ridgeley, West Virginia native scored a MU career-high 26 points with 11 rebounds. 
  • Mahogany Matthews had six blocks against NKU Saturday. Matthews had 63 blocks last season, which were third most in a single season in program history. 
  • After forcing 26 turnovers Saturday, the Herd is forcing opponents into averaging 23.0 per game, for a turnover margin of 5.0.
  • Marshall and Point Park have never met in a regular season game.

  • Point Park is 4-1 this season in the NAIA’s River States Conference. The team is led by Head Coach Dave Scarborough, a Pittsburgh local and a long time assistant of NCAA DI Mount St. Mary’s.
  • The Pioneers can score, the team is averaging over 100 PPG through its five games. Five players average over 10 PPG for the team. 
  • The team is winning its rebounding margin by a 14.2 advantage, and has 19.4 assists per game.
